"First time trying Powderbourne Restaurant. Ordered a vegetable omelet with home fries and toast with a side of bacon. The omelet and potatoes and toast were very good and the portions are large and filling. The bacon is excellent It is smoked and thick cut and really amazing. Probably the best bacon I have had locally. It wasn't too fatty and it was lean with a great smoky taste. It was delicious. Prices are fair and they have a nice full menu with something for everyone. Nice comfortable tables and a decent sized dining room with ample parking in two lots. If you love good bacon and country home style cooking, this is worth the trip. Looking forward to trying other menu options. Hours are limited but they open early and close at 2 pm ."

"Open 6am-2pm. Food is extremely tasty. I always get the great bear and it is ginormous for 1 person. I tried their fried steak this time and it was great as well. YOU MUST TRY THEIR BACON!!! The bacon is cooked so well that it'll melt in your mouth. They have a fireplace inside which is very nice and cozy in the winter. Everyone is super friendly here!"

"Open & serving breakfast from 6am-2pm. I absolutely loved the atmosphere! There is shaded outdoor seating available. Everything was delicious! Another person in my party wanted their over easy eggs more cooked. When our waiter saw it was runny asked if she wanted new eggs. They tried again but it was still very runny. Otherwise it was a perfect first time visit! The chipped beef special was just as good as my late grandmother's. Thank you for the hospitality and great food!"

"Monday morning, late breakfast rush! Welcomed with a friendly smile and awesome tasting hot coffee. Only 1 cook! Our food came out surprisingly fast, Very Fresh and Very Hot, eggs cooked perfectly! It's always a great spot for breakfast but Monday was exceptional! Nice job guys!"

"I've been coming to Powderbourne Sportsman's Club for breakfast for a long time, and it's honestly one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the quality makes it worth every penny. That's why I keep coming back and often bring friends and family with me. However, during my visit this morning with my brother, we experienced an uncomfortable and unexpected moment. While my brother was paying at the cashier, another customer made an unnecessary comment questioning his T-shirt. It was awkward and completely out of place. We remained polite and respectful, but it was surprising and disappointing to see something like that happen in such a great environment. People should mind their own business--what someone chooses to wear is their own choice, and unless you're paying for their clothes (which clearly wasn't the case), it's not your concern. We go out to enjoy a meal, not to be judged or questioned by strangers. I want to be clear: this review isn't a complaint about the restaurant or its staff, who have always been wonderful. It's just a reminder that creating a respectful and comfortable environment also means addressing situations like this when they arise. We love this place and hope moments like that won't stop others from enjoying it, too"

"Two of us ordered The Bear with sides of bacon. The difference in their portion sizes was very odd, even the bacon. One order was literally twice the size of the other. The food itself was good, especially the chicken fried steak. I will say that the hunting lodge atmosphere is the best of any breakfast place that I've ever eaten at though. The wood stove is nice on a cold day too!"

"This is a very interesting and characterful place to eat. It's tucked away a little bit, so you'll have to look for it. Once you get there, it has plenty of parking. Inside, it has a cozy atmosphere. Most of the seating consists of square tables with four chairs (on caster wheels), although there are a few booths with bench-like seats. A friendly and attentive wait staff are quick to take your order and bring you coffee, but you may have to wait a little while for your breakfast. The food is about what you would expect from a breakfast diner, although the extra thick bacon is unusual and delicious. The prices are fair. I will definitely return."
